Do this when the struggle is real

What to Do When the Struggle is Real

Mental and physical rigidity, work dissonance, product dissatisfaction, and service shortcomings vary in scope.   The unifying hope that comes from listening to cues and then reposturing, breathing, and changing to align with intuitive wisdom and calm is optional ….. if you prefer to struggle.

So many personal examples come to mind! You too? Workplace strategies that had a stench, motherhood moments when I wondered what I had become, enduring injustices in the world and misinformation … ouch!

How great is the significance of our physical and mental wisdom!  This poem might encourage one and all to confidently lean into action ( even if some discomfort or excuses come up) and be the disrupter rather than the struggler.

Intuit and Do

Tense and tired
Angry or wired
Drop your shoulders
Unclench your jaw
Relax your hands and breathe

Hold 234
Out 2345678
In with love 45678
Hold 2 purpose 4
Out share your value 678
Tense and tired
Angry or wired
Drop your shoulders
Unclench your jaw
Relax your hands and breathe

Tense and tired
Angry or wired
Times like these
Reward innovative ease
As a team or as an individual
Don’t get small but be full
Displace trouble with calm
Lean in right away with a bomb.
From film to process that is digital
Land lines giving way to service of cell
Forget, forgive, reclaim power
Breathe intentionally this precious hour
Naysay the unnatural and awkward
Question selling a bridge to a bird
Bring forced postures into better alignment
